Smarter Pallet Cartonization: How Our Interns Solved a Real LTL Packing Problem

Build a smarter way to stack pallets and reduce height.

They created an API that takes in box size and weight, then generates optimized pallet configurations in real time. As shipments change, the logic adjusts instantly—no manual recalculation needed.

It’s a solution designed for the real world, not the classroom.

What the Pallet Cartonization API Does

Most WMS platforms don’t support real-time cartonization logic. That forces warehouse staff to “eyeball” every pallet build. Our intern-built API eliminates that guesswork. Here’s how it works:
